Dr. Tabassum Ara Khanum (Profile)

Dr. Tabassum has over 41 research papers published in internationally reputed journals having 20 impact factor and 54 citations. She also published one book, two chapters and ten patents (one International and 9 National). She has gained the “Research Productivity Allowance” by Pakistan Council of Science and Technology for the year 2012 and 2015. She has initiated the molecular identification of soil nematodes and 15 accession numbers from NCBI  GenBank, USA. A honorary shield from  Karachi University Officers Welfare Association for 2011-2013, a shield on the occasion of 3rd International Conference of Pakistan Phytopathological Society, 2014 and a shield on the occasion of first National Symposium on Plant Responses to Environmental Stresses" Recent Advances in Agriculture and Farming, 2014.
At present, she is working on free living soil nematodes and extending her expertise to utilize these nematodes as bio-fertilizer.

Dr. Salma Javed (Profile)

Dr. Salma Javed has over 20 research papers published in national and international well reputed journals with 5.99 impact factor and 39 citations and one chapter in “Biocontrol Agents”, Book (2017) published from CABI. She has also 4 National patents and achieved 140 accession numbers from NCBI GenBank, USA. She got first position in oral presentation in 10th Nematological event and 35th all Pakistan Science Conference 2008.
She is working on molecular taxonomy of nematodes and mass production of EPN and their bacteria.

Dr. Nasira Kazi (Profile)

Dr. Nasira Kazi has 77 research papers published in internationally reputed journals and 4 books. She has supervised 2 Ph. Ds, one M. Phil student. She also has completed 7 projects as PI. She achieved several shields for her contribution in the field of Nematology.
She has vast teaching experience and providing her services as mentor in all aspects of Nematology. She has also been providing diagnostic and advisory services to farmers and end-users for the last 25 years that are the fundamental approach of National Nematological Research Centre.
She is the only field specialist in taxonomy, biosystematics and biodiversity of marine nematodes in Pakistan.
