Facilities

 

 

  • NNRC has well equipped laboratories for research work on fundamental and applied Nematology of plant parasitic, free-living soil, fresh water, marine and entomopathogenic nematodes. NNRC also has three large modernize equipped research laboratories for advanced molecular taxonomy of nematodes especially EPN, their mass production and formulation of these biocontrol agents as a biopesticides. Over 19,000 permanent identified slides and vials of wet suspension of nematode specimens.

  • Large experimental field and two green houses are also available to the students and scientists for their research purpose. Diagnostic, advisory and consultancy services have also been provided to the farmers, scientists and extension workers from all over the country and abroad.

  • Computer facilities and internet access are available for researchers.

  • The seminar Library has a collection of more than 1000 books, journals and periodicals about nematology.
