The late Professor Dr. Afzal Hussain Qadri, former Dean of the Faculty of Science and Professor Emeritus, founded this center in 1966 to advance higher research in the biological sciences. The Biological Research Center was established as an independent unit dedicated to various disciplines within the field. Its purpose was to offer space and facilities to researchers working across multiple areas of biological sciences.
