Intermediate

 

Eligibility for M.Phil

At least sixteen years of studies (Master’s degree, M.A. / M.Sc., BS), or equivalent qualification with at least second division in the Pakistan Studies from an HEC recognized university/institution.

The admission will be granted on the basis of Test & Interview by the Departmental Research Committee of the Centre for admission in M.Phil. coursework programme.

 

Eligibility for Ph.D Admission

M. Phil. or equivalent qualification in Pakistan Studies from an HEC recognized university/institution.

The admission will be granted on the basis of Test & Interview by the Departmental Research Committee of the Centre for admission in Ph.D. program.

If students have already qualified the International (subject) GRE/NTS will be exempted from the Ph.D. test. The validity of International (subject) GRE/NTS will be for 2 years.

The Centre generally follows Karachi University Criteria for admission to M.Phil / Ph.D programme, which may change when deemed suitable.
