Establishment of Computer Lab for Blind Students14 October 2011 A computer lab for visually impaired students of the University of Karachi is being established in the Department of Library and Information Science. The lab is well equipped with latest special softwares for blind i.e. Jaws 2 and Open Book as well as the audio equipment to make it accessible for these students. All blind students of the University are now using this lab on their own convenient timing. Guidance and Training is also being provided by the Department.
