5th National Conference on Space Science & Technology

The Institute of Space & Planetary Astrophysics (ISPA), University of Karachi is organizing “5th NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SPACE SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY” on October 9-10, 2017 for celebrating World Space Week 2017. The theme of the Conference is “Exploring New Worlds in Space”. However, a wide range of topics of Space Science & technology will be covered in the Conference. Space scientists all over Pakistan will attend this conference. Inaugural Ceremony will be held at the Arts Auditorium on 9th October 2017 at 9:30 am. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ajmal Khan will preside the inaugural ceremony while Dr. Hafeez Hoorani, Director General of National Center for Physics will be the chief guest. The closing ceremony will be held on October 10th 2017 at 4:45 pm at Arts Auditorium and the Dean, faculty of Science Prof. Dr. Tasneem Adam Ali will preside the closing ceremony.

International Conference on Sir Syed Ahmed Khan’s 200th Birthday

Three days International Conference on the eve of 200 birthday of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan entitled “ Literature, History and Culture: South Asian Perspective and Sir Syed Ahmed Khan” organized by Department of Urdu, University of Karachi in collaboration with HEC and Anjuman-e-Taraqqi Urdu Pakistan will be held from 16-17 October 2017. A large number of national and foreign scholars will present their research papers in the conference.
Disowns Fraud Emails of Jobs Claiming Money

Public Relations Officer KU has strongly disowned the emails circulating from a fake email accounts (jobs.uok@gmail.com and careers.uok@post.com) claiming to offer jobs at the varsity and asking to pay money. University of Karachi clarifies that these emails are fraud and have nothing to do with the varsity. Concerned ones are instructed in their own interest to ignore such emails otherwise KU will not bear any responsibility.
