Admission Test for M.Phil., PhD, MS and MD Admissions 2017

Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) Convener Admissions Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Qadri has notified that the Admission Test for M.Phil., PhD, MS and MD Admissions 2017 will be held on Sunday 14th May 2017 at 10:00 am. 2942 students were declared eligible to appear in the admission test 2513 students in M.Phil. 328 in PhD, 44 in M.D while 63 students submitted forms in M.S program. According to Dr. Qadri, 1165 students applied in faculty of science, 764 in social sciences, 190 in pharmacy, 273 in management and administrative sciences, 105 in education, 292 in Islamic studies while 52 students applied for admissions in faculty of law.
All the candidates are instructed to reach the admission test venue half an hour before the time of the test with original CNIC and Admit card. The list of successful candidates in the admission test will be announced on the official website of UoK on 19th May 2017. All those students who have their degrees from HEC recognized private academic institutions or foreign university must get their Equivalency Certificate from the Deputy Registrar(Academics) UoK before provisional admission.
Submission of Examinations Forms and Fee of B.P.Ed Annual Examinations 2017

Controller Examinations Prof. Dr. Arshad Azmi has notified that the Examinations forms and fee of B.P.Ed( Bachelor of Physical Education) Annual Examinations 2017 will be accepted at their respective colleges till 20th May 2017 with the Examination fees of Rs. 5500/=. All those candidates who were enrolled in 2011 or earlier shall appear at this Annual Examinations 2017 as the last change by paying Rs. 3000/= as extra charges in addition to the normal examination fees. They will be required to appear as per existing syllabus.
Opening Ceremony of Prime Minister Laptop Scheme Phase - III

PM Laptop Scheme Phase 3: distribution ceremony at KU to be held on 11th May, Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair will be the chief guest Opening Ceremony of Laptop Distribution of Prime Minister Laptop Scheme Phase 3 at University of Karachi (KU) will be held at KIBGE Auditorium, Dr. A.Q. Khan Institute, KU on Thursday 11th May 2017 at 11:00 am. Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair will be the chief guest while Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Ajmal Khan will preside the occasion. According to the focal person, as many as 2331 students will be awarded the laptops in phase 3 which includes the students of PhD, M.Phil, M.S, postgraduate, graduate and undergraduate programs at UoK.
Date Extended in Submission of M.Phil./PhD Forms

Convener BASR Admissions, University of Karachi Professor Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Qadri has notified that the last date for submission of M.Phil, PhD, M.S and M.D admission forms has been extended for two days. Interested candidates may download the prospectus and form from the official website (www.uok.edu.pk) of Karachi University and submit in the respective department/center/institute from 8th May to 9th May 2017 along with the required documents and fee of Rs.3,500/= in the form of pay order in favor of University of Karachi.
