The University of Karachi is organizing “INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MARINE BIODIVERSITY, SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS & TECHNOLOGY on 1st to 3rd October, 2024 at Chinese Teachers Memorial Auditorium, University of Karachi, Karachi, with the collaboration 12 Departments / Institutes / Centres of University of Karachi and 11 different organizations of Pakistan, as well as world. The following Departments / Institutes / Centres of University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan, are onboard in the said Conference:

The main theme of the conference is “Marine Biodiversity, Social Impacts & Marine Energy”. The objective of the said Conference is to provide a forum for discussion and implementation of the Marine Sciences & Technology in Pakistan, in collaboration with various scientists of other countries of the world.

There will be 5 International Keynote Speakers expected from foreign countries and 10 Invited National Speakers expected from different cities of Pakistan, which will join the Conference. The International Steering Committee is comprised of various Scientists, Academician and Professionals from 54 different countries of the world, with including 5 scientists related to North American Countries, 16 scientists related to European Countries, 3 scientists related to South American Countries, 2 scientists related to Oceania Countries, 10 scientists related to African Countries, 9 scientists related to Middle East Countries and 9 scientists related to Asian Countries.
