The Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO) was established in the University of Karachi in 2006. The SFAO has a motto that no student should leave the University without a degree only because of Financial Crisis. As a consequence this University has established a separate and fully functional “Students Financial Aid Office” to support the meritorious as well as needy students by offering fee waivers and providing them financial support through the help of Higher Education Commission, various government agencies, donor agencies, philanthropist organizations, Alumni associations etc.
