Thesis

The departmental faculty nurture and encourage the basic and applied research work and have international collaboration with international centers, throughout the years the department has been successful in getting the funds.
Students must have hands on experience and carry out independent research work supervised by the permanent faculty or in collaboration with other faculty members. The approval of the thesis title must be obtained from the graduate committee at least at the commencement of the semester

The Department of Biochemistry has all the necessary equipment for carrying out research studies in the relevant field along with the instrument facility for research also available in the centralized research laboratory.

Internships

We have initiated an Internship program for the students of Biochemistry through the support and cooperation of multinational pharmaceutical companies, research institutes and Industries.

Facilities

Dr. Zain memorial Library of the department of biochemistry has the latest collection of books on Biochemistry with over 100 biochemistry-related journals in print and/or with on-line access.
